Historical-critical study center for cataloging and spreading Italian painting of XIX Century
Tiziano Panconi is considered one of the leading exponents of Italian art critic.
He is the most reliable expert on the work of Giovanni Boldini, Vito D'Ancona, Giovanni Fattori, Signorini Telemachus, Vincenzo Cabianca and, more generally, the artists in the group of jolly Macchia and Italian painters active at Paris just as well as Giovanni Boldini, Giuseppe De Nittis, Federico Zandomeneghi and Vittorio Corcos, with extended powers to the field of international painting. Since now one of the most respected scholars in the field, his essays and his scientific publications are internationally recognized and, in some cases, adopted in schools and universities.
Scholar, expert and an artist himself, with interests ranging even the art market, he works closely with major national and international auction houses, including Sotheby's.
He is the author of the catalog raisonné Giovanni Boldini, he is a member of several expert committees, carrying out his professional career working with government agencies, museums, ministries, universities, municipalities and the Ministry of Heritage and Culture.
Through its namesake store, where they are now preserved more than 84,000 images, creating the largest gender iconographic repertoire, performing expertise, estimates, evaluations and reviews of all the 800 Italian painting.
